Case number 040053183 - Armed robbery - On 5/15/04, at approximately 7am, a b/m entered the Spin Cycle Laundry, 620 Twin Aire, with a jacket wrapped around his hand. He confronted an employee and implied that he had a gun under the jacket. He demanded money. She told him that she only had about $14 in quarters. She gave him the quarters and he demanded her personal money. She gave him money from her purse and then he told her to get undressed. She refused and he threatened her, stating "things will get rough". She stated, "I guess things will get rough" as she pulled out a .25 caliber handgun from her purse and pointed it at the suspect. The suspect quickly fled from the business. The victim did have a permit to carry the handgun.
